As theĀ inventor and founder of Solopipe, I want to personally thank you for your support and apologize for any frustration this may have caused.
Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're committed to making this right.
Ā
Ā Letās Get YOU LITĀ
Ā
Ā
Solopipe shipsĀ empty, so please be sure to fill it withĀ high-quality butaneĀ ā this is critical to performance.Ā Low-grade butane can clog or damage the ignition systemĀ and lead to inconsistent flame issues.
WeĀ strongly recommend avoiding Zippo butane, as it is not refined enough for optimal use with Solopipe.
Instead, choose at leastĀ 5Ć refined butane. Here are two reliable and affordable options:
-
Ā Vector 14Ć Refined ButaneĀ ā 320āÆmL Single CanĀ
Ultra-refined and cold-filtered ā ideal for Solopipe.Ā -
Ā Newport Zero Extra Purified ButaneĀ ā 300āÆmL Single CanĀ
Extra-purified and includes adapter tips for easy filling.
Ā Solopipe Quick Start Guide
- Filling with Butane
- Push the refill nozzleĀ firmlyĀ into the Solopipeās valve ā it should fit snugly with no leaking.
- Fill usingĀ short 2-second bursts, repeatingĀ 5ā6 times.
- Gently shake to help distribute the gas through the internal tubing.
- Let It Rest
- Allow the Solopipe to sit forĀ 90 secondsĀ before attempting to ignite. This gives the gas time to stabilize and air bubbles to settle.
- Adjust the Flame
- Turn theĀ flame size dial all the way to the right (ā)Ā to shut it off completely.
- Slowly turn it to the leftĀ (+), increasing to your preferred flame size (no more than 1 inch / 1.5 cm).
- Flame size may vary slightly depending onĀ altitude and outside temperature, so feel free to adjust as needed.
Ā Still Not Lighting?
To help us troubleshoot, please let us know:
- What brand of butaneĀ are you using?
-
Can you ignite the bowl using a separate flame source?
This helps confirm whether gas is flowing properly.
If itās still not working after trying the above steps, no worries ā weāll send you aĀ replacementĀ right away. Just reply with your shipping address and a brief description of whatās happening (a quick photo or video really helps!).
